Seed Dispenser

Pigeons are a fantastically underrated species. As an owner of two disabled pet pigeons I decided to create a device to help train my pet pigeon. Similair to the experiments of B.F. Skinner this device, custom built from scrap MDF, consists of a hopper, a servo, a button, an LED, and an Arduino board loaded with a custom program to handle the logic.

Basically the green LED light will indicate the device is ready to dispense. Once the button is pressed the LED goes out and the dispense process starts. After a programmable period of time the light will go on again ready to dispense.

This project is still work in progress, but eventually the button, LED, and Arduino will all be integrated into the box. The LCD display will be replaced with a digit display, and an external potentiometer will handle the programmable delay.
